R4 DS SDHC

We now offer the R4 DS SDHC version with all our 4GB and 8GB bundles. SDHC stands for secure digital high capacity and this is used to describe memory cards with a higher capacity (usually 4GB and over). The original has been highly successful but in order to use an SDHC Micro SDHD memory card you will need the R4 DS SDHC. The R4 DS can be used to play games, listen to your favorite music, watch movies, view photos and even read e-books! Another great feature of the R4 DS is that it works with both the DS and DS lite consoles and can also be upgraded easily via the R4 team's website.

The R4 team regularly updates the R4 DS SDHC firmware meaning that the R4 DS is ready for the latest technology. Bugs or improvements or suggestions from customers are quickly developed and put up for download onto your R4 DS. Just like the R4 DS and R4i DS, the R4 DS SDHC needs to use a memory card to store files and there is no internal memory (making it easier to upgrade). And the HUGE benefit of the SDHC version is that you can use up to a 32GB memory card, ideal for storing large amounts of data. We offer the R4 DS SDHC bundled with 4GB and 8GB memory cards and plan to begin offering larger options in the near future.
